Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture (if available) is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.
  • A temporary cookie is set when visiting our login page to check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Visitor comments may be checked through automated spam detection services. Student and visitor data is stored on secure servers located in the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place to protect your information.
